NEXT STOP: Stage 2, Miami Beach

As the second stop on the 2024 Longines Global Champions Tour unfolds from April 3 to 6, the picturesque backdrop of Miami Beach becomes the center stage for an array of equestrian prowess. Serving as the inaugural American stop on the 16-leg Championship, this event holds a distinctive allure for both competitors and spectators.

Against the Atlantic Ocean's sparkling waters and the pristine white sand, riders and their horses converge at this high-profile destination, marking the first of two stops in the United States. The Miami leg is undeniably coveted, promising not only fierce competition but also an atmosphere of top-tier hospitality.

In the CSI 2* and CSI 5* classes, participants deliver a mesmerizing exhibition of top-level sport, captivating the audience. The village surrounding the venue invites attendees to indulge in a shopping spree, while the Global Champions Lounge and VIP areas offer an oasis of flowing food and beverages.

On one side of the arena, a free-viewing area opens to the public, drawing fans closer to their equestrian heroes. Hundreds of thousands of devoted sports enthusiasts tune in to the live stream on GCTV, enhancing the global reach of this captivating event.

Past editions have seen celebrated riders like Katrin Eckermann, Edwina Tops-Alexander, and Pieter Devos clinch the LGCT Grand Prix title, with triumphant teams such as the Miami Celtics and Prague Lions securing victory in the GCL.

The stakes are high for riders as they vie for a golden ticket to the GC Playoffs in Riyadh later this year. The individual winners secure a coveted spot in the Longines Global Champions Tour Super Grand Prix, the pinnacle face-off slated for November. This showdown promises to be the climax where the season's victorious riders contend for the lion's share of €1.25 million euros.
